Employment: Full Time
Salary: £22,000-£25,000 with KPI bonus’ available

This position will suit an enthusiastic and motived person, with account receivable and/or credit control experience, eager to develop their skills and experience with this rewarding and varied role. The purpose of this role is to:

  • Support the business in managing the Accounts Receivable function; to enable timely creation of billing, ledger management, credit control, customer dispute resolution, treasury and cash management and creation of management reports.
  • Excel as an Accounts Receivable Controller within a strong team, in a fast-paced environment for a company experiencing continuing growth. Reporting to the Financial Controller.

 

What we are looking for:

Essential:

  • Experience of Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control
  • Confident and self-aware with the ability to communicate professionally
  • An ability to communicate in an empathetic and supportive manager
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy
  • Open to continuous improvement and learning, to support company growth
  • Able to manage own workload and work well within a team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

Desirable:

  • AAT studier
  • Accounting Software experience – Sage Intacct/Sage 200
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Invoice processing from time management system to accounting software
  • Sales ledger maintenance
  • Credit control
  • Customer dispute resolution
  • Account reconciliation
  • Processing and allocation of bank receipts
  • Processing card transactions
  • Sales variance analysis
  • Process improvement and development
