Control Room Assistant

Position: Control Room Assistant

Salary: £10.96 per hour

Salary: £10.96 per hour.

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, nights available

Main responsibilities:

  • Incident management
  • Communicating with colleagues and customers via telephone and email.
  • Responding to CCTV activations
  • Scheduling the shifts of Security Officers
  • Monitoring the employee management system
  • Responding to telephone and email queries in a timely manner
  • Collate accurate reports on all events / incidents and provide these to the management team

Person Specification:

  • Maintain an excellent standard of customer service
  • Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders

Essential:

  • Ability to commute
  • A valid SIA badge is essential (DS or SG)

Desirable

  • A valid SIA CCTV Licence (can be acquired on a pay back scheme)
  • Previous Control Centre experience
  • Previous administration experience
  • Previous experience in security industry

The Control Centre Team is the first point of contact for many of our clients, and a professional, reassuring voice for our security officers out in the field. Because of this, it is essential that the successful applicant has the ability to remain calm, in what can be a fast-paced and challenging role.

The Control Centre operates as a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation and therefore, we are able to offer a flexible range of shift patterns in order to accommodate your needs.
