Gatehouse Security Officer
Salary: £29,640 (£9.50 per hour. This is based on a shift pattern Monday – Friday)
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday night shifts, 19:00 – 07:00
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points only permitting entry to authorised personnel
- Report loss and damage to our client assignment
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
- Take effective action in emergency and co-operate with relevant services
- Enforce all relevant health and safety requirements
- Carry out accurate notes for reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork, this may include details of incidents that occur whilst on duty
- Carry out any other duties of a reasonable request by the client
- A visual deterrent to theft, damage and other illegal activities by proactively patrolling as well as securing the property when required
- Complete premises lockdown daily
- Respond to alarm activations during lockdown times
Person Specification:
- Be highly motivated
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have an excellent command of the English language
- Have the ability to present themselves in an extremely professional manner
- Have the highest standards of customer care skills
- Be a team player and very customer orientated
