Duties and Responsibilities

• Offer first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Manage user support requests in a helpdesk ticketing system, prioritizing and resolving issues within defined service level agreements.
• Assist in conducting user training sessions to educate on basic IT procedures and best practices.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance tasks, ensuring proper inventory management and reporting faulty equipment.
• Collaborate with the network team to troubleshoot connectivity issues and support network device setup.
• Contribute to maintaining up-to-date IT documentation and knowledge base to facilitate efficient problem-solving.
• Follow established IT security protocols and policies, ensuring data protection and reporting potential security breaches.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, participating in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics, English, and IT.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer service-oriented approach with a patient and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Adherence to confidentiality and data protection policies.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
