Hours: Full time, 35 hours

Salary: £17,337.88 per annum



  • Coordinate and administer Churchill’s social media channels on a day-to-day basis
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, enquires and comments
  • Develop content ideas across all social media platforms and accounts
  • Assist with planning and executing social media campaigns
  • Assist with generating creative ideas for social first content including campaign assets, real time videos and copy
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy, tone, voice, and terminology
  • Assist in building and managing the social media content calendar
  • Keep up to date with current trends, topics and hashtags
  • Work with team members to establish graphics and updates for all profiles including Facebook covers, profile pictures, thumbnails, Instagram story highlights, and other necessary visuals
  • Engage and grow online communities
  • Write engaging and targeted copy that is in line with bran standards to inform and engage our audience
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Create relevant re-active assets for campaigns in particular Instagram stories, Reels and IGTV
  • Facilitate social media communicates by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Assist with the writing, editing and proof reading of content


  • A minimum of 5 GCSE ‘s at a grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English.
  • A passion for and excellent knowledge of social media.
  • Proven interest in Content Marketing.
  • Interest of working within a B2B environment.
  • Interest in content creation and emerging content trends.
  • Be energetic, eager, ambitious and have a genuine interest in developing and growing.
  • A keen interest in digital marketing tools and trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be a positive influence.
  • Ability to think creatively and with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a proven track record of success, both within education and the workplace.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work across multiple projects.
  • A variety of training is provided, but basic IT skills with programmes such as email and the Microsoft suite of products are required.


  • Experience in Adobe suite tools
  • Some experience in managing social media.
  • A confident communicator through all mediums e.g., written and spoken.
  • A passion for learning and looking to further your experience in marketing.
  • A good problem solver who looks out for better ways to do things.
