Security Officer Abingdon

Shift Pattern: Saturday – Sunday 07:00 – 19:00. This will also include Bank Holidays, holiday cover and sickness cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Monitor surveillance, CCTV and access points
• Permit entry to authorised personnel only
• Respond to alarm callouts
• Ensure all permitted visitors receive a ‘high end’ customer experience from entry to exit
• Oversee the day-to-day delivery
• Provide a level of Service Excellence at all times
• Prevent loss and damage
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate accordingly
• Take effective action in emergency and co-operate with relevant services
• Enforce all relevant health and safety requirements
• Carry out accurate notes for reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork, this may include details of incidents that occur whilst on duty
• Carry out any other duties of a reasonable request by the client

Person Specification:

• Personal presentation of a very high standard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Good Organisational skills
• Own transport
• High level of professionalism
• Reliable with excellent time keeping and attendance
• Ability to use initiative and be adaptable
• Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team

Essential:

• Valid SIA License (SG, DS or CP)
• Ability to pass SC Clearance along with NPPV3 Vetting (this will be paid for, and will be discussed during interviews)
