About the role:

As a Security Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of your team, working across the South of England. Ensuring the highest standards of security and service delivery, you will lead and mentor a team of Security Professionals, ensuring service excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, your role will involve maintaining strong client relationships, implementing and upholding security standards and monitoring employee performance. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Clients are visited within the agreed frequency of SLA, including all meeting minutes documented on Batham Technologies Client Meeting Notes report.
  • The Operations Manager is to build relationships with clients and ensure contract is meeting contractual obligations.
  • The Operations Manager is to strive for Service Excellence, ensuring that Contractual Obligations are exceeded, wherever possible.
  • Ensure any service deficiencies or client dissatisfaction (which includes ‘Requires Improvement’ and ‘Below Standards on the Client Meeting Notes Document) is noted and dealt with promptly whilst driving innovation to prevent reoccurrence. This also includes logging complaints within company CRM system. The Operations Manager must also trigger the Jeopardy Process within the processes SLA’s.
  • Ownership of New Site Mobilisations. Including keeping “Basecamp” project up to date with actions and providing regular updates to the Senior Operations Manager.
  • Work in coordination with the People Team to Recruit/TUPE across new Employees, staying close to the BS7858 screening and induction process to ensure compliance and a happy entry to Churchill Support Services for our new colleagues.
  • Work in coordination with People Team to recruit, deploy and retain our colleagues.
  • Ensuring training shifts are undertaken and uniform and ID cards are ready for day 1.
  • Take the lead on any People related Employee Relations matters with support from the People Team.
  • Create an environment, at Site and as a Manager in which we do all we can to retain our people and embrace the Company virtues of “People First”, “Humility” and “Passion” This is to include Officer (welfare) visits, using the Bantham Technologies ‘Employee Welfare Survey’.
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures assignments are documented and always followed, for both the company and the client. This includes keeping compliance documents such as “Assignment Instructions” and “Risk Assessments” up to date and signed.
  • Ensure Sites are fully scheduled (on Smart Task) with competent and trained officers at all times across all contracts within your portfolio.
  • Ensure Site Training is completed and only fully trained officers are deployed to site. Making sure that training is logged on Smart Task. We must also ensure that training costs are relevant and only signed off by the Control Room Manager when needed.
  • Explore Account Development Opportunities with Clients whenever they present themselves, or simply ask the question, to see if opportunity does present itself.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to constantly improve the contracts and add value
  • To advise the Senior Operations Manager on the implications of current and upcoming health and safety, welfare and other legislation including evaluating options, making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance.
  • To undertake any other duties as required by the Senior Operations Manager, Director of Operations and Senior Management.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid front-line SIA Licence
  • Driving license
  • A passion for service excellence.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use I.T systems effectively.
  • Good organisational, leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients and senior management.
  • High level of professionalism
  • Flexible around working hours.
  • Reliable with excellent time keeping.
  • Ability to use initiative and be daptable.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and part of a team.
  • A good knowledge of the security industry
