The Challenge

After facing multiple challenges with the existing Security Provider, UBT reached out to Churchill in September 2019 whilst on the search for a Security Partner better suited to provide the level of services required for their Corporate building Exchange Place in Warwick.

The security requirements included a Front of House Concierge role Monday – Friday with duties to include but not limited to; meeting and greeting visitors and employees, signing in/out visitors, answering telephone calls, handling incoming emails, and controlling access and egress to the building.

As well as the above, our client also required a Manned Guarding service outside of business working hours to ensure the building remains secure and fully protected whilst the property remains vacant during weeknights and weekends.

The Solution

After submitting a fully detailed and comprehensive Proposal which met the clients expectations, UBT invited Churchill to a site meeting to discuss their requirements and our submission in further detail. Given the historic service issues, it was incredibly important UBT transferred the Contract to the right Security Partner who could facilitate their needs and take the headache of running the Security Contract away from UBT employees.

After providing UBT with the reassurance of our capabilities, Churchill were awarded the annual Guarding Contract in October 2019 and commenced the services in November 2019 following a smooth TUPE process working alongside the incumbent supplier.

The Result

Since mobilising the Contract in November 2019, Churchill have had a great business working relationship with our client at UBT with a partnership approach.

Dean Cain, Regional Business Manager, has visited the client every month since mobilisation to conduct a monthly SLA to ensure there’s no areas for improvement, accompanied by officer welfare visits. Churchill’s SLA scores have consistently been above 90% since the Contract commenced and have achieved an average score of 94% over the last 12 months.

As a result of the service excellence provided by both Dean Cain and the Security Officers, our Contract with UBT has since been renewed annually and we will continue to work alongside UBT throughout 2022 and 2023. We look forward to continuing our partnership for what we hope to be many years to come.
