About the client:

Our client in Plymouth is a prominent manufacturer and supplier specializing in a wide range of quality products. They offer solutions for fastening, fixing, installing, connecting, insulating, protecting, and identifying electrical cables, as well as network connectivity solutions. Additionally, they excel in developing customized cable management parts to meet specific needs. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, our client provides essential solutions for various industries, ensuring reliability and efficiency in every application.


Shift Pattern:

We currently have an opportunity for 2 weekend officers to join the team:

Saturday – Sunday days: 06:00 – 18:00

Saturday – Sunday nights: 18:00 – 06:00

Each role offers a total of 24 hours per week.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the security of the premises, including conducting regular patrols.
  • Handle access control procedures, verifying identification, and issuing visitor passes.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, including alarms, emergencies, and potential threats.
  • Report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of security protocols to the appropriate authorities.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, security checks, and any relevant information.
  • Collaborate with the wider security team and other departments to uphold a safe and secure environment.



  • A valid front-line SIA Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  • A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
  • A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
