Churchill’s Recent Audit Results Explained

At Churchill Support Services, we’re always striving to ensure that the services we provide are of the highest possible standards, and work tirelessly to ensure that we’re at the very pinnacle of our industry.

It’s with that in mind that we’re keen to provide a comprehensive overview of our recent independent auditing results. We underwent a rigorous, 8 day audit, whereby multiple independent assessors looked at our capabilities and suitability across different metrics.

There were 4 accreditations that were achieved. These were:

  • The Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) – Run by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), the Approved Contractor Scheme is designed to raise performance standards across the security industry, and ensure that security providers are operating at a high standard.
  • International Organisation For Standardisation (ISO) – These certificates act as an assurance of quality across multiple different processes. At Churchill, we have 3 different standards that we were audited against:
    • ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
    • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
    • ISO 45001 (Health & Safety Management).

All of these are integral to our operations here at Churchill Support Services, and we had to work diligently to ensure that we retained them, and could continue to provide the same level of exceptional quality our customers and clients have come to expect in recent years.

With that in mind, we’re absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve passed the auditing process with flying colours. These are stressful times for any business, but to have passed with such consummate professionalism is a testament to the hard work and dedication our team puts in on a day-to-day basis.

Our ACS score is really what crowns this achievement, though. It’s a meticulous 145-point assessment of any security business across the sector, and seeks to ensure the quality, robustness, and ambitions of a security firm.

Our score across the past two years has been an unmatched 144/145, and 2023’s assessment has equalled that with the highest possible score of 144/145 once again. To have achieved that score once is exceptional, but to have consistently done that over the last 3 years is unparalleled.

This is an absolutely huge achievement for Churchill Support Services, and one that we’re more proud of than we can ever fully express. It’s a massive milestone in our extensive history, and paves the way for future prosperity.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes out to Melissa Carter, our Compliance & Sustainability Manager, whose dedication and professionalism were the catalyst in ensuring we’re as up-to-date with our processes as we possibly can be.

This heralds the start of a new era for everyone here at Churchill Support Services, and it’s with great excitement and anticipation that we look to a prosperous and bright future in our industry.
