Churchill Announces New Leadership Structure

Announced on 16th May 2023, Churchill has unveiled its new leadership structure, taking effect immediately. It’s been specifically tailored to facilitate our exponential and ambitious growth as a company, as well as put ourselves in the prime position for future success and prosperity.

As part of this newly-implemented leadership structure, we’ll be introducing several new job titles and categories.

John Melling will continue to be at the helm of the business, and now becomes Churchill’s Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role will see a continuation of John’s stellar job of overseeing the overarching strategy of the Company and its subsidiaries, working alongside the Executive Leadership Team to identify and pursue new and exciting opportunities.

As one of the pioneers of Churchill’s core ethos and guiding principles, John fully understands the company’s desire to continue providing exceptional quality service to all of our valued clients.

Alongside John is Andy Farley, who is now taking on the role of Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). Andy takes charge of the strategic operations here at Churchill and its subsidiaries, including overseeing all of our individual teams and ensuring that departments work in harmony to achieve the company-wide goals and aspirations.

Andy’s long-standing position as our Operations Director meant it was a natural progression to this new COO role, and we’re immensely proud to have someone with his vision and expertise in such a pivotal role for the company.

With these new job titles comes an innovative and robust “C-Suite” framework, which sits directly above our Board of Directors. While complex on the surface, this C-Suite simplifies our management structure, defining our top-level management, and ensuring we’ve got a clearer path towards the creation and implementation of long term plans.

Our C-Suite also allows for the better promotion of Churchill’s central virtues of Humility, Passion, and a People First Culture, all of which are integral to the services we provide, and the work we do for our customers and clients.

Our Board of Directors will retain the same roles, but now move to having full responsibility across the Group. As part of this, we’re thrilled to announce David Parsons as the Group Finance Director, and Mark Ashcroft as our Group IT Director.

As one of the UK’s leading providers of exceptional quality security services, restructures such as this one serve as a testament to our journey, as well as a resounding indicator of our continued successes across one of the most competitive industries UK-wide.

Not only does the move allow us to position ourselves perfectly for future successes, it’ll also allow us to leverage further acquisition endeavours, and provide a stable and secure platform that can facilitate internal promotions and the expansion of our C-Suite.

While these internal changes won’t interrupt or affect the outstanding service you receive, we feel it’s important to let our valued clients know how we plan to better accommodate their unique security needs, and how we’re preparing for the future of security, and of our wider interests.

We wish all of our new and future appointments the greatest of successes in their new roles, and look now to the future with increased optimism and excitement.
